Yeah - it's a shame about Germany and its licensing laws. I've been meaning to upload the blocked ones to Vimeo, but I haven't had a chance.
Re the convention question. I've been asked this a bit and as far as I can tell they either a) only accept vids from people who will actually be attending or b) taking any they choose of the internet. If I had the chance to make a vid for a con I would love it (in fact I have just the song in mind!) but I can't ever attend them so I figure I won't be doing that.
So if you don't do vids for the cons I'm going, I'm all for the beta-ing!
