Clinical is indeed a good word to describe the episode. I've just been looking at past finales and this lack so much of that brother angst and pain and searching. I did feel the Bobby moment and that there was they only real "heart" in the episode, but it did feel squeezed in.
I was certainly entertained and if it had been anywhere other than the finale it would have been a great, solid episode.
The end holds lots of promise for S8 and I sincerely hope they make the most of it.
I am so disappointed that they wanted the bromance turned down. They did take out a lovely little moment - which backs up that claim. I just hope they don't continue in that vain next season. Let's hope with Jensen at the helm in the first ep we get the heart back in it.
