galwithglasses has written a wonderful piece on Season 8. She investigates the connections between the characters and the overall driving themes of season 8. It's an absolute must read for those who are still feeling unsure about S8. It makes it clear that there WAS a strong structure and purpose from the first episode to the last. I've been gradually feeling better about S8 - this just makes it even better. :)
