I wasn't sure I'd want to post reactions this season, but I'm feeling pretty excited about S11 so chances are I will. I'll probably have to put up some disclaimers (ya know: personal opinion, just 'cause I like stuff in the show doesn't mean I'd want that in real life, that I'm likely to be critical and sometimes negative but doesn't mean I don't respect the hard work of all those involved (or still love the show), yada yada), but I do love chatting about the show so unless it's a direct repeat of S9 (lots of discord between the brothers), I'll probably write some stuff up.

I'm happy you're excited enough to contemplate doing your reaction posts! I am pretty excited about the new season as well. J2 seemed pretty stoked about it, which always helps me look forward to it more!

Yeah, J2 have been saying some pretty positive things *g*. I think I've really missed the show and chatting about it. The promo has really got me excited, so I'm very interested to see where they go this season. :)

Jared and Jensen and Mark and Ruth seem very excited, so I'm excited too! Then again, I'm always the optimist when it comes to this Show :)

Yay! Excited cast! :D I was always pretty optimistic (and try to remain so), but S9 burned me pretty badly and I'm forever worried they'll do something like that again. Tho S10 healed some of it for me. Now it feels like we're back on an even playing field (neither bro solely to blame for the current situation) so my optimism level is pretty high. :D

Are you avoiding spoilers this year? It's too late for me because tumblr but I know a lot of people are avoiding them. I am looking forward to this season and still wistfully hoping for creeping lethal fog.....

Nah, I'm gobbling up every spoiler possible. Impossible to avoid as I'm on twitter a lot. Pics EVERYWHERE, spoilers EVERYWHERE. So, I'm resigned to knowing it all (and sometimes actively seeking them out). I'm liking what I'm seeing so far I have to say.

I'm thrilled that you're going to be doing reaction posts! And between that killer promo and the fact that the guys themselves seem to be pretty excited over S11, well, I'm pretty darn excited about the new season myself!

\o/ Yay! excitement all around! The promo was awesome. Great choice of song, and the footage looked very intriguing. I'm looking forward to squeeing about it all! :D

I only have two potential boxes here, maybe:

I'm usually worried too (well, since S8), but I'm constantly trying to move on. I'm trying not to hold onto my bitterness from first half of S8 and pretty much all of S9 so I can enjoy S11 like a fresh start (unless of course Carver decides to have them at each other again - or keeping secrets, or blaming each other etc). I feel hopeful that we're done with that now and the boys will be working together to fix things.

I'm ridiculously excited about S11 :D I can't even tell you how much. Also, so looking forward to your reaction posts ♥

You know what I adore about your posts, they're always honest, they're always well written, and whether or not everyone agrees on them, they're always well reasoned and a good way to chat about what's going on on the show, and it's a safe environment to do so, so YAY!

I'm totally happy you will do reaction posts - I don't care if they are positive or negative or neutral, I love hearing what you and others think!

I'm largely spoiler free so maybe that's affecting my excitement levels - I'm in the looking forward to it but not madly range.

Thank you hun! I feel like honesty is the best for me. If I dislike an ep it comes for the heart and I always have reasons for it. And I love it when others have different ideas though. I've often changed my mind after discussions. :)

Good for you being spoiler free! I've seen too many pics (and yeah, I've taken a look at some spoilers I have to admit).

I'm super excited for season 11! I've been staying away from spoilers and I've done pretty well (I've only seen a few very minor things) so I'm coming in with no expectations about what lies ahead. There's usually a few lows each season, but as long as there's plenty of highs I'll be happy.

I'm thrilled to hear that you're hoping to post some reactions. I always enjoy reading what people see and feel, especially when they point out things that I've overlooked, or if they see things from a different perspective etc.

Bring it on indeed! I used to avoid spoilers but these days they seem rife (on twitter for example), so I've resigned myself to knowing what's coming up. Though, I definitely think it's better to be unspoiled!

Your reviews are pretty much the bomb for me. I look forward to them almost as much as I look forward to watching the episode each week! You have such a keen eye for the visual elements I often don't notice until you point them out, and I can always depend on you to be particularly mindful of how well Sam's POV is conveyed, which is really important to me, since Dean's POV is usually so obvious.

Anyway, looking forward to S11, yes, yes, yes! Bring it!

Im looking forward to this season, I think mostly because I don't know much about what is coming up. Normally, I'm not much of a spoilerphobe. But I've found the past couple of years that the more Ive known going into a season or certain episodes, then sometimes I've been more disappointed because it didn't live up to any expectations I've had. So this year I've just chosen to scroll past any possible spoiler post or promos. I know a little bit, but certainly not all I used to scoop up in the past. I'm hoping that not having any expectations will leave me pleasantly surprised

I agree. I think the fewer spoilers you see the better. Now that the show has started I'm hoping to avoid spoilers if I can (well, not go seeking them). :)

I'm basically meh. S10 didn't impress me, and the promo for the premiere seems derivative. I'll probably watch (DVR) but we'll see. I don't trust twitter because it will all be OMG OMG BOYZ I LOVE SHOW FEELS. Or god this show sucks what more canon can they destroy why are they still on.

So I'm going to stay off social media until I can watch the actual episodes. I'm not excited but I'll give it a try.

I'm certainly more excited this season that I've been since, well, S7. I used to dread episodes (especially first half of S8 and pretty much all of S9). S10 healed things for me a bit, so I'm hoping S11 will heal things even more. *fingers crossed*

I sometimes feel lonely in being honestly critical about the show, so seeing the reviews from someone who has doubts and calls it like she sees it is a big plus for me. Looking forward to seeing your views! I just HOPE that the show will do some or many episodes I can love; I don't exactly have faith.

I'm fairly spoiled, too... and I'm 50/50 on how those spoilers have made me feel. Saw a clip of the first episode and loved it. Saw the Family Business trailer/promo and LOATHED it. Excited about Episode 4. Put off by a lot of what's been said in interviews. It's like a game of fortunately/unfortunately! :-D But I'll just try not to have expectations and take it as it comes.

I've only seen the promo and a scene from ep1 and both have me excited. I haven't seen the Family Business one. I'll probably avoid previews from now on (if I can!!). I try to keep my expectations low also (since S9 anyway), but I'm hoping they'll give us something to be excited about this season.

Yay! I have to wait an extra day or two to read ep reactions, unless I'm in the mood for spoilers, because I watch the eps on the CW site. (Wouldn't be surprised if we have trouble tonight tho, as it's likely a LOT of people will be trying to watch at once!) But it sounds like everyone is enjoying it, so I'm excited. Bu yeah. Still trying to contain those expectations. <3

I'm really looking forward to it, I think S9 and S10 (apart from a a few very dodgy episodes) have been great and I hope S11 continues the run.

I enjoyed much of S10 - and S9 had a lot of potential, but I ended up being bitterly disappointed with the overall resolution. But - I'm moving on! :)) I think S11 should be great! :))

Maybe this was in a comment but when is the premiere? I think I need to watch the last couple episodes of last season to get back in the mindset again. So glad you're here!!!
