I was gonna write heaps but I'm a bit too inebriated so I will just say.... YAAAAAAAAAAY!! That was awesome! I loved it.



Though having said that I'm sure the following makes no sense....

Why is it that this show constantly reminds me of my favourite movie Withnail and I? Just certain moments. I think his mannerisms and their relationship. (And yes... here's my opportunity to say .. if you have not watched Withnail and you like Sherlock.... Go and watch it!! Withnail is no Sherlock, but his eccentricity reminds me of him. And "I" is no Watson... but there is a resemblance. Loyalty for instance. Just. Give it a go. It's wonderful.)

I loved that that episode had so many puzzles and Sherlock was so brilliant. And the bro!mance was.... *happy sigh*

I was totally not going the slash with these two.... but COME ON! That final scene? Sherlock ripping off that bomb vest?! All that.... loving angst. God damn! I'm corrupted. SPN fandom, what have you done to me?!

Ok. Really. It's the transitions that I'm totally in love with. I think I spontaneously combust with each wipe. And the way they play with foreground obstacles before each wipe transition *adores*

I now want to read a fic where Sam has a bomb vest strapped to him and Dean is all angsty and has to rip it off him. Please. *puppy eyes* (swaps vid for fic? *flutters eyelashes*)

Oooh, ooh.. The Professionals had an episode where Doyle ripped a bomb vest off of Brodie. (I think I might have a kink...or something. /o\)

Anyway. I hope it doesn't end there. At least another mini season of 3. Please.



Here endth my indepth Sherlock reaction. (and I blame all errors on the champagne I've enjoyed tonight)

Hee! I was exactly the same when I started seeing my flist going crazy over this things called Sherlock. I thought it might have been another film or something. But no, it's a TV mini series on the BBC (I think it's the BBC). They have only made 3 episodes (though the ratings have been very high, so there may be some more...*fingers crossed*).

We subscribe to a torrent site to Dl stuff, that's where we got it from. I haven't seen it offered on LJ (though there is probably one around somewhere).

So worth it, if you can hunt one down. Brilliant series.
