How the hell can they reschedule Supernatural until NEXT WEEK!!!

ETA: Looks like their reasoning is to give Nikita (who will be competing against American Idol when it opens), a better chance in the ratings by repeating it on Friday. SUCKS!!! So getting SPN on the cover of TV weeks means nothing - obviously! (fan rants and info are CW lounge) *still mighty pissed*

And ... this is a decision they make one day before the show airs. Because ... because ... because ... Um. I may be something of a broken record on this point until I hear an explanation that doesn't make me gape with horror, so I should shut up, now.

From some of the rants they are suspecting it's so unsuspecting spn fans (not all are on line i suspect) will switch on expecting spn and get nikita and watch that instead. Hoping to up the ratings. If that is the case that suck EVEN MORE!!!

The disrespect to the fan base is incredible. And i know what you mean... My blood is boiling...!!!!

I'm pissed off even more that I realize that we worked our asses off voting and the article promotes the premiere for this week and the CW is slipping in their crap. We already have to practically promote the show by ourselves, then they go and steal our best chance at higher ratings.

Yes... it's rubbing salt into the wound. After EVERYTHING we've done for the show (and in turn The CW) they do this to us. :((( Not to mention, as you say, our chance to get extra viewers because of the promotion it had being on the from cover.

Blame Chicago's mayoral race debates and a stupid college basketball game. Politics and sports are preempting tonight's CW programming in Chicago and Baltimore, respectively, so The CW has decided to re-air tonight's new episodes of The Vampire Diaries and Nikita tomorrow in those two markets, throwing off its programming schedule all across the country. Hence the push back of Supernatural and Smallville in all markets.

On the bright side, this scheduling scramble will conceivably be atoned for with a future pre-planned off-week becoming an on-week—meaning a steadier stream of both shows from here on out.

Hmmmm......

Ok. But it doesn't sit well with me still. Surely they would have known about these things earlier?! And really?? A basketball game?? *sad face*

If it means less of a break next time they stop then I suppose that's the upside. I still think they have let SPN fans down. After all the effort to get SPN on the cover of the TV Guide.....

actually the above sums up my reaction. But now that I know I'm all like MEH.

I like to try and put a positive slide on things so now I'm thinking well at least now we get the show for one week longer than originally planned. You know CW have prolonged the happy making....kinda. Sorta. If ya really squint.

OMG finally your vid has downloaded for me right now as I type this. Off to watch - been hanging out to ever since you posted it AFTER we'd left for Broome Tuesday - last four days have been email access only and OMG I've been dying to watch it.

I'm so bloody disappointed - avoiding spoilers is getting hard enough without shit like this and I've had three or more spoilers drift my way just this past week.

Since when did Supernatural ever have a repeat showing when they got shoved aside for sport and such, when did WE get a repeat showing when a popular show went up against us? Yeah, we all know the answer to that one, fans dig in deep and vote and vote and vote (well, I did for a couple of days straight and I never do polls like that, but for our little show I pull out the big guns) to give this show some recognition way outside it's normal cult status and yet it's own network doesn't seem to want to give us a break.

*hugs* I feel ya. I have been down all day. I just couldn't believe the network would do that to us. Especially after everything we have done for them. The disrespect is incredible.

And the whole avoiding spoilers has been SO HARD! I've never really been a spoilerphobe but since trying hard to avoid spoilers it's amazing how often they present themselves. (YT is particularly bad...)
