Wheeeee!!!! YouTube restored the sound on Channel Hopping!!

I am forever in debt to heidi8 for her advice!! It worked!!!!!!!!

Wow. I'm kinda stunned. But Yay!

While I'm giving out hugs I need to hug _sharvie_. She's helping me work through the pros and cons of other streaming sites AND she set up my page on 4Shared. *hugs* I just don't have the patience or the know how!!

And hugs to those who watched and commented on my latest vid. I know angst ain't the easiest (nor the most entertaining!) to watch, so I really appreciate it. :D


Now off to watch the new ep!! I can't wait!!

Hee! We were watching the ep at the same time. That should be beyond odd as we're on opposite sides of the world and watching it not at all when it was broadcast.

And you know I'm loving helping you on the site. Anything that gives me a chance to fiddle. *lol*

It's too bad no site seems to work for everything. :( They make it so difficult for us. I'm shocked YT listened to you! Ba-damn! Next time I need someone talked into something, I'm calling you.

Oh man. That ep was AWESOME! I can't stop thinking about it now!

And I am still in shock that YT restored the sound. But it wasn't my doing. heidi8 is totally responsible. I would never have considered it if she hadn't told me what to say (or that I could even contest it!)

Okay, have to ask, how did you get them to do it? (I have almost 10 vids that were taken down...)

This is not legal advice, but a few weeks ago, they took down the sound on my Welcome to the Black Parade vid, and I argued that the vid was transformative of both the visuals and the audio track. I gave Ash my language here and it seems the same arguments worked for her.

You can feel free to try them if you want to - but I can't make any promises that they'll work. It didn't work with UMG's lawyers and my Charm Attack (Heroes) vid.

I see Heidi answered this! I am still in shock over it! I think it might have succeeded because it was only muted and not taken down (?) or maybe because it was only 1 song they had a issue with. I really don't know. Let's know if you have any success getting any restored.

*twirls you* I still can't believe it and it has made me ridiculously happy! I really can't thank you enough. If there's ever anything I can do for you let me know (well, vid making is the only thing I really know how to do .... but yeah, if you want a vid just let me know!)
