So ... YES! Flask without the leather is indeed curious. No idea what part of the flask Bobby was attached too but my feeling is they were going with him being totally attached to the flask and not the leather. Maybe Dean wanted to still hang on to a little something of Bobby. I would be surprised if they have him come back as a ghost. I do foresee that he might be in purgatory though? Maybe? Not sure they have written out Jim just yet...;)
That shot with them in the front seat is SO curious. I can only assume they have used some old footage maybe? But... I LOVE YOUR IDEA!! LOTS OF ZAPPING!!!
And I'm a spoilerphobe too, but I ended up being spoiled for the very end (an accident and my fault for checking LJ before I watched the show. Some previous speculation was confirmed so I knew ahead what was going to happen. It did spoil the surprise for me, but it also helped me relax going into it because I was excited for that kind of ending).
