Oh good lordy! There's delicious hurty Sam stuff going on over at ohsam. Excuse me while I wallow! (and dammit, I came too late and left a prompt buried deeeeep. But boy am I enjoying the works. Like cassiopeia7 awesome art work here).

I miss Jared. Terribly. But I am also so happy that he's taken a break from being on-line. I think it was much needed time out (probably for both of them).

That doesn't mean he can't still be in our thoughts via fic or art. So…yay!

*waves* I feel like I haven't been around much. It's such a busy time of year. School is out and I now have a wonderful 5 weeks of holidays ahead of me. Yay. I've been eyeing off the spnspiration bingo cards and decided to grab on in the hope it might help me experiment a little in my vidding next year. Absolutely no idea how this will work, but I'm going to see if I can at least do a couple of these.

cerului filled my prompt at the J2 Mockumentary and Gag Reel Comment Meme. And it's hilarious! It's called the The Golden Wig and the mockumentary characters are perfect. (I have SO much love for that mockumentary. I can even tell you. Each time I watch it (and it's been a few times I can tell you!), I see something new - and end up grinning like a loon all over again. Now THAT's a love letter to the fans...). missyjack (aka @superwiki) is hosting a SPN Season 10 poster competition. In case you don't know, the CW is holding a poster competition but it's only for US fans - which cuts out a HEAP of international fans. So if you feel inspired to make a S10 Supernatural promo poster, there's an opportunity to still enter a competition. She's offering a super cool prize too (and honestly, this feels more in the fandom spirit than the CW one. Can't help be a little cynical that they are just after some free art. Though, I suppose it would be pretty nice to win something like that. And I do keep hearing proclamations that fans could do so much better than their own (Photoshop) artists. And I agree!).

I can't quite believe I said yes to joining a GISHWHES team! I have no idea what I'm in for or what it's all about, but I believe it's meant to be fun (and a little crazy), so...why not?!

The team I'm with (part of amber1960's team *g*) is still looking for a few members. 15 people make a team and I believe they have 10 (maybe 11) and would like some more.

• I'm blown away how quickly money was raised recently to keep the fabulous SuperWiki running. A new, dedicated server was required due to all the information on it and all the visitors it gets. The goal was $2223 and that was raised in 12 hours! It's now on $3,625! The additional funds will go to the future running costs. There's still 33 days to go and I'm sure if you wanted to donate the money will be appreciated.

• I've seen this posted on a number of journals. It's a lovely idea (SPN day of fandom love). Sad that we actually need to do something like this, but maybe drawing attention to how hurtful fandom wank can be, fans may think twice before being hurtful. Personally, I don't think "wank" is necessarily disagreeing with each other or having different views on the show. It's mostly about the way things are said.

• Any of you into the Pacific Rim fandom? My darling friend and my long time vid beta _sharvie_ has made a Pacific Rim/Tron crossover AU vid! Incalculable, Unconditional. I was thrilled to be able to beta for her after all the years she beta'd for me.

I watched Scarecrow last night with zebra363. It's been a while since I watched a season 1 episode (though I did re-watch Devil's Trap a couple of weeks ago).
