I'm really such a dag. Give me a new season of Supernatural, a bit of extra time (yay holidays!), a video program and I make something silly like this.



I did have plans to make a long vid using 3 sources of footage (episodes, gag reel and con footage), so I could capture the whole spn experience, but that got too hard and as it seems making "hard" these days is a struggle I decided to cut back and just use gag reel footage. I think of it as one long gif expressing my inner squee.

I've uploaded the images here because I NEED these stats on my journal. I can't get over the amount of work that would have gone into researching all this stuff. And then making all the cool graphics. This fandom can be batshit crazy (and yeah, I gotta say I'm seeing it now that I'm hanging around tumblr more) but wow, there are many more who are simply A-MAZING and take the time to give us this incredible stuff!

Those graphs are amazing! I particularly love the way they provide a great comparison between seasons. Look how much Dean drank in S7! And how many times he said "Sammy" in S2! LOVE IT!

I went to Swancon over the weekend and cupidsbow showed some A-MAZING videos. These two were my favourites (though they were all fab).

If you have a chance to watch these on a big screen I highly recommend it. They are mind blowing.

wendy has been running an autograph give away for the last few weeks. There were two winners and I was one! \o/ How cool.

I get Kim Rhodes, Chad Lindberg, Rob Benedict, Guy Norman Bee, Mark Sheppard, Richard Speight, Jr., Rick Worthy, Matt Cohen, and Misha Collins autographs. There's no way I'd ever be able to get those in person so I'm thrilled.

Met up with the lovely ruby_jelly for lunch yesterday. :DD I'm having such a great holiday...

I've just starting watching Sons of Anarchy and well, I think I might be hooked. I watched the first 3 eps in a row and I'm hanging out for more. Man... so intense. I'm loving the intrigue and the characters are so dynamic. And there might just be a wee bit of drooling over Jax...(thanks for those who recommended it).

Speaking of recommendations. For those who like action flicks with a hearty dose of bromance (and cheese) then you might like Battleship.

I've been loving this season so much I actually MISSED IT not being on last week. I have NO IDEA what we're in for. I'm equal parts excited and nervous (as always with this show) because it's one show I can't second guess. Laughing one minute, crying the next. Whaaa... I think there will be crying.... (I have no aths today so I'll be watching as soon as I can *BG*)

Have you seen the stupendous J2 Message for People's Choice Awards??!!! THESE BOYS!! I CAN'T EVEN! They LOVE US!

Random... but any thoughts on You Tube's new layout? I don't mind the new look. I assume it can be personalised though? From what I can gather if you change to the new look you lose all your settings, channel comments etc. I'm not sure I could be bothered changing everything.

Also. Vimeo? Yes? No? Someone asked me to post my vids there because some of them are blocked in their country. Does vimeo not block vids like YT? (I do have an account, I just don't use it).

And I'm seriously considering DreamWidth. LJ seems to be suffering those DDoS attacks more frequently. It don't want to move but the constant down time is rather frustrating.

It's December! How the hell did that happen!?
1.5 weeks of school left! \o/ (thank god. What a term /o\)
6 week holiday here I come! (I'm flying to Sydney on Christmas day for a 2 week holiday \o/).
