I think we're going to be in for an awesome season!! I can't believe I still feel as invested as I did 8 years ago. That final scene (and the many, many moments in S8) reassured me that they know what makes this show tick. BRING IT! Umm..divineS9? I needs a hashtag!!

I, too, am ridiculously fond of the car-wash scenario. Especially if a water fight (and shenanigans!) ensues. Wet, perhaps shirtless(!) brothers having a slo-mo water fight overtop of Baby? BRING IT ON!

. . . but when is the last time Dean actually got to sink his choppers into some PIE? Without smelly chicken feet interrupting, or Sam getting cake instead? THE MAN DESERVES HIS PIE!! XDDD

I am really excited for the season because I think Carver has maneuvered the story lines to a place where he can take it some where interesting. that's my hope anyway..;)

I'm about to jump back into Supernatural, so I'm just checking in with my barometre (aka you) to make sure things didn't go south again at the end of the season. I'm really glad to hear you have hope for s9!

I was intending to give it another go a while back, but the news that we lost Ben Edlund (WAAAAAHHHH!!!!) kind of discouraged me. However, this gave me hope--I love Robbie, he has such a great sense of humour as well as being a great storyteller. Also, I was stalled at ep9, I just couldn't bring myself to watch it after what I'd heard. A friend advised me to skip it, so even though it goes against the grain for there to be a Supernatural episode out there I have not seen, I have ep10 cued up on my DVR, and I'm just checking in with you before I press play. So here I go! *deep breath*

Hi there!

I really loved the way it ended. In fact, I really loved the build up to the ending. Now, now everyone did - so it will depend on what you're after. But as I rather like hurt!Sam and awesome big brother Dean, I was in my happy place. :)

The show took a new direction 9.11. A direction that I loved I have to say. 9.10 was a difficult one for me - but it did (sort of) resolve the first half.

Enjoy! There's lots of great eps leading up to the finale.

Ha! I should've skipped ep10 as well! And there wasn't much point in skipping ep9 seeing as I'm pretty sure they talked about all the crap in ep9 in ep10.

However, as you say, at least it ends the first half, and now I'm up to date on the plot.

Ep11 was a joy, and even though ep10 had put me in my unhappy place, it still made me laugh out loud several times (which isn't an easy thing to do!) Thank you Robbie T, I love you!

So long as Sam and Dean are acting like Sam and Dean, whether it be Sam taking care of Dean or Dean taking care of Sam, I'll be happy, so I'm sure I'll like the ending too.

(Though it would be nice if someday Sam saves Dean from Hell/Purgatory/a Celine Dion concert to make up for the fact he hasn't yet.)

Thanks again for being my barometre! Now at least I know I'm over the hump and can enjoy the rest of the season. And be ready to rejoin the fray for s9.
