This is a rather personal vid for me.redteekal was lucky enough to attend Nerd HQ recently and she and her partner took some absolutely gorgeous pictures of Jared. In a recent post redteekal related a story by Jared told about Gen and Thomas and mentioned a song Jared relates to his experience of fatherhood. I thought it might be nice to put the pics together with that song.
I then watched all the Nerd HQ and couldn't helped adding a couple of extra bits. ;)
It's really just a way to try and capture some moments from the event and put the pictures in a video. It also meant I could stare at those gorgeous pics as often as I want *g*.
(And I've earmarked this song for a SamnDean vid. Just saying).

How does Jared just get more and more beautiful with every passing year???? I mean I've always found him to be extremely attractive and a lot of that is because of what's on the inside and his personality. But fatherhood seems to have brought out something extra that is really hard to define. He positively glows when ever he mentions Gen or Thomas and that only multiplies his attractiveness to me.

And yeah.... there's just something about him recently. It's interesting to compare this Nerd HQ to last years. He's much calmer and seems more relaxed. Or maybe he's just had less to drink or something...;))

I have a meet & greet with Jensen at Vancon and all I could think about as I watched this is, "man, I wish I had sprung for a Jared M&G too!" (maybe next time.)

Initially I had planned to just use the one song and the pics and then when I watched the whole HQ thing I wanted to capture a little more of its essence. Jared seems to embody sincerity and levity in equal portions...:)

Awww hun THANKYOU so much, you have no idea how much this means to me, it's the very best present fandom has given me EVER! I love every single second of this vid and the commenter above is so right in that it's reflective of SHOW but it is also totally the embodiment of Jared too...he's such a deep feeling, sensitive soul who is also has that streak of utter goofiness and uninhibited ability to have a laugh at himself that makes an entire room full of people just break out into grins and giggles and laughing out loud moments. You have combined those two aspects seamlessly somehow and I just adore it. (((((HUGS))))

PS Meant to say also how much it also makes me feel a little pleased with myself (and Mr tim too!) for managing to take these photos - they are kinda gorgeous aren't they? *vbg* ;-)

I am so thrilled you like it. I really enjoyed making it because it felt personal and I like adding that quality to vidding. :) It was also fun actually watching all of Nerd HA (though I have to admit I skipped past the bit when the girl brought out the artwork... I just...nope. Couldn't watch that bit. /o\). Jared seemed a lot calmer than the last HQ, but still genuine and full of life.
And you and Mr Tim did an EXCELLENT job capturing Jared! \o/

And I am so with you here! I've been going through this strange period of thinking - that, when the time comes, I can see the joy of be a grandparent (god! I never thought I'd hear myself say that!). It's kinda lovely seeing Jared discovering that joy and knowing what he's going through. I do get the sense, when I listen to him, that it hasn't all been smooth sailing - because having a child isn't smooth. It's hard work.
