supernatural 30 Day Challenge
Sep. 15th, 2013 08:58 pmDay Three:
I think I am going to let nostalgia win this one and say Season One. Though it's not only nostalgia because I feel it did have a strong overall story arc. And there's hardly an episode I don't like (I even like Bugs!). They were still finding their feet and even though some of the episodes were, um...full of plot holes, there was a lot of heart, great universe and character building and John Winchester!
Season Two and Three are close seconds. Season four was remarkably focussed and gave us a female character who had wonderful direction and purpose (though it's a hard one for me to re-watch because of the brother separation). Season Five was dark and painful (with some amazing episodes!), season six and seven were ok and I actually loved many of the episodes. Season eight has warmed on me. I really enjoyed the second half and I have a greater appreciation for the first half now.

Date: 2013-09-15 01:56 pm (UTC)Always SO good. Oh man, the pay off at the end of S4. It was bittersweet. I was so happy that Sam found out the truth and Dean was there for him. But then they had all those huge trust issues! (so awesome really...;D)

Date: 2013-09-15 03:44 pm (UTC)For me the winner has to be season two I loved the psychic kids arc and the mystery behind what it was that Azazel wanted with Sam. On top of that the season had such incredible episodes like In My Time of Dying, Croatoan and All Hell Breaks Loose Part I and II. Season 4 is a close second. Then it would go seasons one, three and finally five. Those are the five seasons I adore... Season seven is a 'meh' season for me and seasons six and eight are repress, repress moments for me lmao.
