I'm a huge--HUGE--fan of outtakes. But I get a little cranky at stuff set up to film as fanservice--done with the gag reel firmly in mind. I'd rather have bloopers and screwups and uncontrolled giggles and falling-over than a "prank" somewhat scripted and directed because someone thinks the fans will think it's cute.
I'm...just grouchy that way, I guess. It's a failing.
