I wondered the same about "That Was Then, This Is Now". (It still kind of delights me that a favourite childhood professional author is fannish about this show! I'd love to know if she reads slash.)
I thought Dean had his arm snapped (sounded like it) and yet he got up and seemed perfectly fine.
Yes – I was looking forward to Dean being injured or at the very least needing his shoulder put back, but I guess we've already had that back in S4.
