I usually cross post from here, but as most of my flist haven't moved and don't seem to have any intention of, I'm usually still over on LJ - until they drive me off, which going on past record? Might not be long.

I'm adding you here though, would hate to lose contact with anyone over this fiasco.

Yeah. Not sure what I am going to do yet. It's more in preparation than anything else. If all of fandom migrated I'd be happy to take residence here. But most seems to be happening at LJ still.

I've contemplated Tumblr, but I'm thinking I won't be able to control the spoiler stuff as well and it mostly seems less...um.... idk ...organised? Or something.

*nods* - Right now I've found work arounds so I can still use my journal as usual, what will happen when this new Russian baffoon restyles the WHOLE site, removing subject lines and the preview button etc, then I'm not sure either.

Logged in this morning to find all my navigation links in bloody RUSSIAN! And the pages littered with that eye ball melting bright turquoise the idiot seems to have taken a shine to!

UGH! - I hate this, I can get used to changes, but I can't live with less functionality, but I'm entrenched so deeply in lj, it's communities and it's very feel, I have nothing against this place, but it always feels - I don't know how to explain it really - maybe just less like home and more like I'm trespassing and have to watch what I say and do - *shrug* - silly really as the place has nothing to do with it...

I tried Tumblr - once - have to say it makes absolutely no sense to me at all, no conversations, no ideas, just posts and lists of people liking or reposting - not my idea of fandom at all. Facebook was the same, it just didn't seem a logical interface and I wasn't interested in even trying to find my way around and of course more bloody eye ball melting turquoise!

New Year will be better once it's come and gone...
