My kids at school made me feel that way too, with their handmade cards and gifts. How sweet is that?!!

I went and saw my friend's play last night (mentioned a couple of posts ago) and is was A-MAZING! Man, I wish it was something you all had a chance to see. There is talk about it being toured and maybe hitting some Fringe Festivals in Aus, so you never know. The wonderful thing was, the girl that directed it (and omg direction was stunning, as was the set design) I acted with a few years ago (in a play called "A Beautiful Thing") so it was doubly awesome catching up with her again.

I feel all inspired to get back into the theatre again. I haven't acted or directed for a couple of years now and I miss it sooooo much. It's a shame it's so time consuming. But one day...

Anyway, ended up having a wonderful day. (Took my mind off the whole "getting older" side of it :D)

I can't believe I actually signed up for this, but it doesn't have to be ready until September so that gives me a bit of time. I love Sam in Leeve Breaks, I just hope I can find a song now.

I did Summer Sam Love last year when it opened and it was fun. I wrote fic though. Wish I had a vidding muse right now, but I have my crack ideas at least. :)

No idea... I suspect because the mods are gen gals...maybe? I know some of them and as far as I know they are all gen writers. They might just be trying to keep it *koff*... clean. (shame because I think it would have opened up the response some more)

Yeah, that seems kind of odd to celebrate the character but then restrict what can be done for him. In fact, it's kind of funny in a way because at this point in the series we're actually getting a notable amount of fic written that's with other characters and isn't Sam/Dean!
