Real life and stuff..

I am husbandless for 3 weeks. He's just headed off to England for his parent's 50th wedding anniversary. And as much as I am going to enjoy unlimited computer time (and therefore vidding time \o/) I will be lonely. He is my best friend and soul mate and I will miss him.

So advanced apologies for any future spamming I might do. When I'm lonely I will probably seek LJ for solace.

But yay vidding time:

Plans:
1. Auction vid. My working title is "Sexy Dean vid". So yeah. That'll be tough. heh.
2. Vid raffle vid. The awesometastical smilla02 won the raffle and has given me the most wonderful song and prompt. I sincerely hope I can do it justice. I love the idea.
3. festivids vid. Ack! Nervous about this one. I have to get it done before Christmas as I will be away for the deadline. Excited and nervous.
4. Try and kick the butt of a vid I am trying to make to "No Bravery". It's one of those songs that I can SEE what should be going on and when I put the clip down it just looks cliched and over used and...yuk *shelves it until it wants to play nice*.


Oh and you know I mentioned my niece is on Australian Beauty and The Geek? Well it aired last week and it was great to see her having so much fun. She's Jessie for those who are watching. Can't say I think much of the show itself but good for her for getting a break. Also, I found out she is now best friends with her geek outside of the show. "Like a brother" she said. Sweet.


And one thing about an episode like last nights is that it makes for lots of chats and thinky thoughts. Fellow fangirls are my cure. And I'm digging all the theories that are out there. I also have faith people! Faith that everything will be all right. I do. Really. Mostly..

awww - spam away. My husband is a reservist in the forces so he's gone on many weekends and while I do enjoy some alone time to try and write (or fret over the show), it can get lonely. Even with three kids and two dogs to keep me company. Because, like you said, he's the best friend.

Your kids are your kids. Your best friend isn't a responsibility, it is someone to share those things with.

I'll wish you a quick three weeks.

Yeah - I'm lucky. We've been together for about 20 years and we're still pretty lovey dovey. :D

But I will have fun - lots of vidding to do! :D

Yeah - 3 weeks will be the longest we've been apart for, well, since we've been together I think. And that's 20 years. :)

Yeah. that's what I'll miss. We talk a lot and share stuff. I have a 13 year old daughter, so she will keep me company. But it's not quite the same.

Still - we'll be in contract via email, so I'll just have to share that way.

Yeah - no doubt they will go very quickly. My time will be filled with run my daughter around, work and um.... lot's of vidding (hopefully) and maybe spamming you all. :D
