There's no denying that posting a vid after my last one is a little daunting, especially as this is neither crack nor very "flashy". In fact it's a quiet little vid reflecting on the OC's that met their end in Season 3. Kripke certainly likes to kill off endearing characters.

I've had this song on my list to vid to since it was used in "Houses of the Holy". I like the idea that some of our OC's are definitely not going to heaven. Though they were seeking their own kind of heaven on earth. Oh dear, that sounds a bit like meta! I better let the vid speak for itself.

Really excited to see this here - and it felt sorta sad. Of course not all the oc's were good guys ultimately, but originally maybe? The female demon was a demon, but hey, a girl as well, a "meat-suit", who died.

I gotta say, can't really fail with this song, for me at least. It was beautiful; yes peaceful.

If you take the theme innocent until touched/tainted/perverted by evil, then the "Chosen childen" were also tragic characters who'd fit in too.

Congratulations, this is at your usual high standard. Funnily enough, I just watched Channel Hopping again this evening. Wow! sorry for the waffle!

Yeah, you know this time last year I made a similar vid only it was much more upbeat (Stayin' Alive) and featured the "chosen children" but I just couldn't go upbeat this time. I think because the OC's were much more sombre this time (bit like the season I think). And I did feel saddened by some their deaths - particularly Gordon (only 'cause I loved him!) and Hendrickson. :(

Loved it! Short, sweet, and very true to the series. I just wanted to let you know that I'm working through your YouTube stash. Batman and Boy Blunder is pure, unadulterated genius.

I did make the choice to show that side of their characters - it was interesting to me that both had solid reasons for being the people they are. And, well, I just adored what Sterling did with Gordon.

I thought that was a worthy tribute to the fallen OC's in S3. The tone was just right - not overly upbeat or elegiac. It had just a touch of somberness and was more of a bittersweet reflection of those who have fallen - the good, the bad, and the in-between. I also liked that you didn't pass judgement on unpopular characters or perceived "bad guys" and treated all the deaths equally.

And hey, not every vid needs to be flashy or cracky. Speaking of which, I have a non-crack vid that could use a beta. Would you be interested?

Hey maichan. Thank you so much - you pretty much described my vid just how I'd planned. Mostly just a refection of their lives and deaths. They were a strange mix of OC's this time 'round.

And yeah - not every vid needs to be flashy or cracky - but it sure seems to help with the audience numbers! :)

And wow - I'd be more than happy to take a look. Though I don't think I make a particularly beta (?) but I'd be happy to give it a go.

Oh, Ash, that was so cute. I really liked colours, which gave this video the feeling of something that WAS. It is quite sad that it ended, it was amazing journey. Even though this song was a strange choice (for me) cause you showed good and bad characters asweel, i really liked it. Thanks for sharing ^^

Hey loki! Thanks so much hun. Yes, I struggled with the song choice for awhile. I searched forever for another song, but this one wouldn't leave me alone. In the end I quite liked the irony of certain characters not going to heaven at all. I also played slightly with the idea of them seeking heaven on earth. Amazing what I'll do to make a song fit!

And I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to see your vid yet. I'm hoping to have a chance this weekend! I'm looking forward to it. :)

Oh yeah, i know the feeling when you just can`t rid of the song, and actually, i think you (and veryone else) just can`t find another song just because you always think about the first one. So yeah, now i agree with you, cause this irony with heaven thing - it`s pretty interesting :)
