What a day.

Little Athletics ALL DAY! And all I could think of is my show... and that I was missing it... (well, not all day- there is the vid I need to tweak and upload too...*g*).

So. No show yet.... going to have to wait a bit....

In the meantime I just have to share these two amazing pieces of art work I saw while I was lurking on ontd_spnparty

They've probably been around for a while (?) and unfortunately I can't credit the artists because I don't know who they are. (if you know please tell me and so I can go and gush at them..).

OMG, the second one!!! Chubby little Sam fingers and scrawny little Dean shoulders. I love how both boys look slightly unkept--they need haircuts. *heart melts* The caption for that one could be: "And that's what saved the world". I want to know who did that one, too, so I can see their other SPN artwork.

The sappy I-need-happy-little-boys part of me hopes it's nothing traumatic or scary. I'd like to think perhaps it's just John and Bobby's first conversation or maybe John walking up Pastor Jim's front steps for the first time (which is why the boys are looking curious and slightly apprehensive and being sort of clingy). Gah. Someone needs to write a fic based on this artwork.

I just... I'm pretty sure I just gained a new level of maternal instincts. All I can really say to the Weechesters one is "awwwwwww!".

I'm still sorta new to the whole Young Justice thing but I have to say that Superboy and Robin really look like teen SamnDean in that first one. And I like it :D

Oh. I totally took that as Sam and Dean... as super heroes. It's one aspect that I loved about it. So it's Superboy and Robin? I know nothing about this piece of work - just that I love it. So Young Justice eh? Looks like I need to check it out..

Oooh, those are nice! I haven't seen them (or that style) around LJ before, so my guess would be deviant art or something. There is a little clover logo and date in the lower right corner of the top pic.

Maybe you could ask at supernaturalart if anyone recognizes them?

Aren't they? I don't know a lot about the techniques involved to create art but I know when something makes me feel something's gotta be right.

I'd love it if you could take a look around DA. I've never really been on there so I wouldn't know where to start.
