Bits and pieces....

Hey guys...

First up: We all know how awesometastic Superwiki is right?! Well, voting is currently taking place in the SFX 2011 Best Blog Awards for the Best Franchise Specific Site. GO VOTE! It's an incredible website and is deserved of your vote. When I vid it becomes my SPN bible...

Speaking of vidding....


Sometimes I like to list what I have in mind. I like coming back to it (especially when it comes to fruition) to see what I had planned.

My current plans...

1. Finish my auction vid. (nearly there!)
2. Start my spn_cinema vid (SO pumped for this vid. No idea if I can pull it off, but I'm so excited with the music selections. (*hugs* maichan808) I can't wait to sink my teeth in to it. But it's a biggie... so yeah. ..... lots of work ahead on that one.
3. I have a song I am DESPERATE to vid for Misfits. I have a song!! \o/ I can SEE the vid... I just need TIME for gods sake. *make this happen*
4. Every time I hear Lady Gaga's song "Born this Way" it makes me want to get hold of The Adventures Priscilla, Queen of the Desert footage and vid the hell out of it. Love the celebratory nature of this song. I think these two sources would go well together.
5. A crack vid that may just contain the words... "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition..." ;)

Then of course there's the: sex on legs Sammy vid (in conjunction with some meta I'm planning), a celebration of the women in SPN and a wincest vid to a gorgeous song deirdre_c posted a while ago.

Damn! I seriously want to do all of these.../o\

My daughter competes in the State Track and Field Championships this weekend. It's kind of a big deal. If she wins a medal (only needs one!) she gets to compete in Kuala Lumpur with the International Team. She has potential in shot put, javelin and the 100m. But. Crap!... it'll be damn tough. She's won a medal every year she has competed (the last 5 years)... but this might just be the one she doesn't./o\ (And yep.. I'm one of those nervous mums who paces on the sidelines...). Still. I'll be proud no matter how she does.

Random..

My husband's learning to speak Japanese. Via podcasts. I do love this man. :)

I'm listening to Nina Simone as I type this. *adores* Sinner Man always makes me think of SPN for some reason - Sam in particular.



Lastly....my thoughts are with quite a few of my flist who are suffering a loss at the moment *hugs*

It's some list eh? Damnit! It's my goal this year ... so maybe I'll get some done..

There is indeed something very special about Nina. I would love to see a vid to her. Can't ever recall seeing one.. but there's a few that would work. That one in particular... :)
