Vid Notes

When counteragent requested a Bobby vid she said "the world needs more Bobby vids". I agreed but it wasn't until I started looking for a song for Bobby that I realised why the world doesn't have more Bobby vids. Finding a song for him was hard!

When starrylizard suggested this song I kinda chuckled initially and didn't give it much consideration. Then I listened to the lyrics and started to picture how it could actually work. So I finally settled on a song that I thought was completely off the scale in terms of Bobby's character. But in hind sight I think (I hope!) it worked ok. I liked that it gave me the opportunity to use various POV's to show Bobby's character.

For me Bobby's story is often wrapped up in everyone else's. He's like an Everyman. The "go to" man when there's trouble. I loved Weekend at Bobby's for giving us more of an insight to his character. It also emphasised how much he does for others. So that became the focus for this vid. I didn't want it to be too heavy, because I don't think the show treats him too heavily, even though he obviously has his share of heartbreak.

I totally love those Bobby-bubbles in the beginning!
Also Bobby picking up the phones. And the "yees?". And the end with the old style photos and that other song version. And the hair part, and... just about everything else in this vid!!!! :D *clap clap*

I think you potraited him so wonderfully. Made my love for him grow even more.♥

So glad you liked all those moments. That section of the song at the end is actually from the same version - but it feels so different I couldn't really use it in the body of the vid. But I really liked it so I used it at the end.

Funnily though.. counteragent and I listened to a few different versions of this song before settling on this one. You can't believe how many are out there. And really weird ones too.

And the banner is super cool yes?! I love it. maichan808 spoils me. :)

Oh, really? It certainly has a different sound and feel to it. It sort of sounds "older", that's why I think it went so well with the old (colouring) photographs.

And yes, that banner is somewhat perfect. :D
