* Being on holidays means spending 1.5 hours at the hairdressers. Joy. I like not being able to do anything except sit back, relax and read/listen to fanfic. Great chance to catch up. (And missyjack... I have the issue of the porn covered. *g* I listen when the hairdresser is over my shoulder and open the iPad to read when they set the timer.... ;) )



I was reading Who Watches Over Me? by thenyxie (yep... only now catching up on 2010 Big Bangs.../o\) so I was conscience of who was over my shoulder because WOW... HOT HOT stuff. Loved it!

The podfic I was listening to was Cattle Rancher, Convenient Wife, written by 1ightning It's read by exmanhater who I just LOVE listening to. She's great. You can't go wrong listening to anything read by her. The fic was great too. (J2)

So. Now I'm back to brunette.

* Finally watched the final ep of Game of Thrones. JOY! Thanks to everyone who helped me find the show... (and the last ep..;) ). Just amazing... can't wait for Season 2.

* Started watching Leverage again. I just can't figure that show out. I am so totally in my happy place when I watch it and yet... it's so damn silly. I waver between... awwwww I love these characters and..... WTF?!... he can send an email from a crevice in a mountain...? So I go with the sheer entertainment value and suspend my disbelief like whoa! And drool (just slightly) over Eliot... and err... maybe Parker... ;)

* I want my show to return NOW. With filming started and talk all over the place of stuff I am itching to see it. *grabby, grabby hands* There's talk of 23 episodes this season. WOOT!! That would be extra awesome. I hope it's true.

* I've challenged myself to tweet everyday. Not sure why, it's just something I want to do. Yep... I am kinda strange like that - but I'm sure you've figured that out already. (and if you haven't then you will when this crack vid I'm working on comes out..../o\)


*hugs*. wow.. that was indeed random..

Also... meant to ask. What goes with LJ's new header? What a strange mix of....what exactly is that? There's a lollypop on my user name...

You know what, you might have just cured me of my intense hatred of going to the hairdressers. Podfics... why didn't I think of it before? I despise the women who stand there and chat mindlessly while doing my hair and as you said, a readable fic isn't always the easiest thing to have in your lap. I shall try it next time I go!

Banner - l/j banners frequently give me migraine - hence Firefox and addblock. When those fail, which they have again on this one, then it's back to Greasemonkey for the back to blue bannering - and I'm all set.

Quirks? Why, yes it does seem like I have an excess of them some days...

I kinda love going because it's an escape. And the head massages are awesome. :)

I didn't know you could block the LJ banner (which isn't surprising, there's a heap I still don't know). I usually like the banners, but this one looks like it should have a story or reason behind it. *shrugs*

I'm not into U.S. TV series besides Supernatural and Leverage (love Eliot and his hair!) - does it happen regularly that a season gets an additional episode. A lot of people already wondered if it will be the series finale. Which would make me really sad, so I'm not sure I like the idea of 23 episodes right now.

I did worry about it being a signal for the series end. It seems weird that they are already planning for 23. I'm sure they could have told the story in the usual 22. I'm not complaining. The more the merrier. But if it signals the end then, no, I won't be happy. At all!

I had planned to go to Vancouver and to VanCon 2012, but if there won't be a season 8, what's the point? I'm a bts geek, so I'd hoped to stumble across the set there (- missed them about one block last year!). But actually I don't have the money to go this year ($800 just for the flight).

on another note: I can't stop thinking about Chris-Eliot making a guest appearances on Supernatural: Eliothair vs. Samhair -> would be an epic episode!! rofl

And OMG! That rumor... that really had me going. And I have to say I'm still not feeling entirely settled. When I first heard there would be 23 eps this season my first thought was that it was because they are ending it, so when I read that it was easy to believe.

I was actually VERY productive today. And only because I tired mighty hard to stay away from the internet.. (worked for a while anyway...;)

I haven't read the Homework verse yet, but she sent me a list of her faves and that's on it, so I know what I'll be doing this weekend. She really is an amazing writer.

I felt the same way when Jared said there will be 23 epis, and then that rumor came out and it just floored me...so someone is having fun with us - I want to strangle that person!
