fic_art_remix is a low-key multi-fandom remix challenge to mix up the media. That means, to write fic based on a drawing, make a video based on a picspam or a fanmix based on a fic... You get the idea. Sign-ups will start soon!

Woot! Fic from drawings, vids from picspams, fics from vids \o/... sounds pretty damn cool! I would love to make a vidlet that inspires a fic. Or vid a picspam... :D

Yeah... The last one involved rather a large and involved vid. This time I'd love to focus on just one film "remake". But that would be fairly tricky. The footage would have to support the film. Hmmm... a western might be fun.

Oooooooh..... maybe the film Seven. I think there's enough footage to create the seven deadly sins....

The boys could totally investigate a "copycat" style scenario. The Kevin Spacey character in the film was actually possessed by a demon (I see "possessed" people every where these days. The show has corrupted me /o\) and even though the body was killed the demon somehow escaped and is now possessing someone else and the patterns start all over again.

However... if you DID write something I could vid I would totally give it a go! (it would fit your challenge as well. Did you notice that the posting dates are the same? 1st Nov?)

I was actually thinking in a little bit of a different direction; a casefile that sorta re-uses the deaths in the movie. It obviously wouldn't be a serial killer at work (or if so, not a living and breathing one *gg*), and wow, I like the demon angle. Can demons be nutjobs? Like, actual, nutters? Psychopaths beyond purely being demonic, with an agenda and all?

It's an interesting question. I mean... it's a stretch. Saying that the character of John Doe (I think that was his name) could have been possessed by a demon. And from a writing stand point how to give a demon motivation for those actions... *head scratch* The character recognized one of the sins in himself so maybe the demon was searching for identity. I see demons as game players. And messing around with humans in the way he did might have been motivation enough. (this is a side note but I think demons are not explored enough on the show. The angels are seen to search for understanding and identity but never demons).

But ignore all that waffle. I have no idea really. I'm spouting blaaaah..../o\

From a vidding stand point if the footage exists to compliment the story it can be done. :) (though I've never done that so I have no idea about how easy or hard it would be. Interesting challenge though..)

Any sort of casefile would be awesome. Casefiles are one of my fav type of fics. Not often found so if you manage to write a casefic around those deaths I think it would be amazing.

My angle is more like... You know, it's demons. Demons are, uh, made of people who went to hell. So, what I have in mind is a demon that used to be a killer of some sorts while he was human (not serial killer, but, a violent background, and since it's the seven deadly sins, I'm thinking of something religious; plenty of that to choose from), and now, even though he can't quite remember the context, he feels like he needs to weed out these sins. I mean, that'd be a stretch, too, but it's never been explored how Ruby remembered her human live, if it was real or a ploy, and Crowley knows about his mortal life, too, though he is rather high on the foodchain.

OMG I WANNA WRITE THIS. SO BAD. I ask again: WHAT HAVE YOU DOOOONE??

It's not like I'd be snatching anything away from you, as I understand it a movie can be claimed once per media.
