stillwaters01 has written an amazing story inspired by the vid. (And I'm not just saying this because of the vid connection). It's also called No Bravery and it's an incredibly beautiful and heart wrenching story. It left me numb with the feeling of overwhelming grief. It's Bobby's POV and it takes place immediately after Sam's death in S2. I challenge you to read it and not be brushing away the tears. It's simply wonderful.

fic_art_remix. There's quite a number of works offered up on the Supernatural post. (It's multi-fandom so there are other posts also). You might see a fic, picspam, art or vid that you feel inspired to remix into another media. You might want to offer up some of your own work. Go on!
I spotted a new community today. It's calledsd_recs. It's modeled on j2_recs. Which means the recs are made in themes. It's a great idea and a very straight forward method of recc'ing.

Podfics
The thing about podfics is you can't be too particular about what you listen to. In that, the fics that you may normally be attracted to may not have been read by anyone. So you have to take what there is.
That's how I found Twists and Turns bytcs1121. It's read by chemm80 so I knew I had a good reader. It's AU J2 romance, with a huge slice of hurt!Jensen. Yep. I normally wouldn't read hurt!Jensen but this fic is wonderful. Jensen has a permanent disability that gives him a lot of pain. It's full of h/c and Jared is SO awesome. He's just how I imagine RL Jared to be. Bouncy, smart and full of life. A good, long listen. :)
Another fic that I might not normally click on is Green and Camboge bysevenfists. It's Sam/Dean, R. One word people.... GREMLINS! It's absolutely delightful! It's read by eosrose and her Gremlin voice is to die for. Give this a go. It's fun and sexy. (I just noticed this was written in 2007. Podfics = WIN!)
Life is kinda mad and hectic at the moment. I need (well, want..*g*) to finish my Jared vid but just no time../o\. Maybe this weekend. I want to do a remix (I'm thinking meta actually...) forfic_art_remix. I've signed up for spn_cinema AND I have 3 vids I want to start, like yesterday. I also have been blessed by getting a sneak peek of an author's work I love and have said I would "beta" it. I use that word lightly because...man, I am NOT a text beta. If it means getting an advanced peek though? Yep! I have no shame. *g*

But I'm not gonna influence you. *gg* And it might look like an odd choice for a soundtrack to writing THAT fic, but if you put the songs into the right context, most of them are downright creepy. /twisted mind
