Some things I found today.



Firstly, wow! This was originally posted in 2008. I had no idea this was out there. You might have missed it too. (thank bythedamned for the link).

She made an interesting observation that the hat he (possibly) died in is one he's never worn before. ACK! It's an omen. It's since been labeled The Hat of Doom. :D

And now, because it seems somewhat appropriate (and probably self indulgent), I renamed my "Bobby, You're Awesome" vid:

Of course I am assuming he's gone (as it would make so much sense) but it doesn't mean he is. The thing that would sadden me the most is that we won't get any more Jodie/Bobby. :( I did enjoy that potential.

I can't believe how static that vid is. I'd do it differently if I remade it I think

You know, this just reminds me -- I have been to a Creation con or two and they always show the lamest music videos! Why can't all the brilliant ones we see here ever make their way to Creation cons?

I've often wondered how they select their vids. I remember seeing some at a con I went to thinking how cool it would be to have a vid shown at one.

I think they just nab them off YT.

Really, I think fans have to submit them, and sign a waiver allowing Creation to show them at that or any future con. I just wish the awesome vid makers I see here would submit theirs!

(Creation also gives prizes, but it's a certificate and a credit to be used on Creation-sold-items in the dealer's room, I think. I won once for a Battlestar Galactica music video. They tend to like the funny or action-packed vids more than the angsty ones. And they like to have ones that feature their guest stars, as they show about 10 music vids per con...)

Ah yes. Someone did tell me about submitting a vid to a con once. I remember looking in to it but from what I remember you have to be attending the con to submit. So that crosses out pretty much all the cons for me. I'm not sure about the Aus one next year. I might look into that...;)

I have a vid in mind that I think would work at a con. I've always thought "We Will Rock You" by Queen would get everyone pumped. *g* I'm seriously thinking of making that one one day just for fun. Maybe as a recruiter vid. ;)
