I made this for the lovely antigonesgift for her recent birthday. It was a lot of fun to make and I'm pretty happy with it. Ok, it's nothing flash but I really wanted to make something that's "feel good" and happy for Katie!

Definitely feel-good! Beautiful work. Really interesting tranisition technique; had me intrigued - good job. Also, love the juxtoposition of clips of "wee Sam and Dean" and "adult Sam and Dean" sitting in same position, side by side on bed. Almost looked like same bed, lol; you must have great eyes and visual memory, wow!

Hey hun! Thanks so much. There's a transition in there called a "swap slide" - where one clip replaces the next one - I thought it was kinda quirky so I threw it in there!

Out of all the sections "when I grow old" took me the longest to figure out what to use. I've been wanting to use a dissolve between wee!Sam looking at Dean to adult Sam to looking at dean for a while now. It's been in the back of my mind. So glad I could actually use it here.

EEEEE, ASH!! This is ONE MILLION PERCENT DELIGHTFUL! I love it SO MUCH, honey!

And, gosh. I have SUCH a soft spot for this song, and The Proclaimers. They were playing here in Sydney in 2003 during the Rugby World Cup (three straight months of booze and boys and fun times with my girls!) and we saw them on a wet, rainy, AWESOME night where we all danced and sang and jumped around like crazed loons. BEST NIGHT EVER.

I am unsure about the sliding/shuffling transitions, though. They were kind of distracting to me and broke the really nice internal movement/timing of the vid at times. I might change my mind after watching some more, though.

Great clip choices though. Sweet and cheerful. Ten kinds of awesome with a cherry on top.

Thank you! And thanks for your honestly - it's appreciated. Transitions are tricky like that - I tend not to use them very often - particularly ones like these for the very reason you mentioned. In fact I took out a few because of it messing with the flow. But I was experimenting a wee bit - hence the variety of them!
