Plans for 2012:

Vidding:

I have an idea that I'd like to try for 2012. Something that I want to challenge myself with but also something that would involve other people (you guys!). I'm planning a vid prompt similar to the recent "tell me about a fic I haven't written" prompts. It would be a series of mini-vids (10-15 secs) inspired by vid comments about vids I haven't made. They would be presented in one post (so no spamming) and feature moments from vids you guys might want to see. There will be more about this early next year but at the moment this is one thing I would love to try. (Or am I really, really crazy to attempt this?!)

I'd also like to branch out to other fandoms or films.

I've beta'd a few vids this year and I've really enjoyed that process. It's not easy or straight forward so I'd like to keep that up and hopefully improve the way I view and offer feedback. (I'd also love to open up a vid beta discussion *adds to list*)

Meta: Dean and Sex is being written (follow up to Sam and Sex) so I hope that will be done. And even though writing isn't something I do well I love trying to improve it.

Picspams: I want to get better at picspams, so I hope to play around with that some more.

Yay! Fandom. I kinda love you a lot. <3

I made one less vid than last year and 3 less than the year before. But I did other stuff so maybe that evens it out. Or something.

ETA: Correction. Same as last year. Just remembered the Misfits vid I made. :)

I think making any number of vids is an accomplishment. Vidding is hard!

RL has kinda burnt me out in the last couple of months. Work has been hellish but I go on holidays very soon. Actually I should be on holidays all ready, if that gives you an idea on what work has been like, so I have been kinda blah about everything.

But I am still so very in to SPN! Still my favourite show. I am not entirely satisfied with the current season as some of the others but I still love Sam and Dean enough to carry me through. And I totally read fanfic every day. What else is my smartphone for!

I actually have a SPN vid that's about 80% done that is all about them getting physically hurt but I need to refine it down because I have way too many clips and now I feel kinda bad whenever I watch it.

Argh, I know about Festivids! I keep thinking as soon as I finish work, I will get onto to it and then I realise how little time I have left. But I may take you up on that cheerleading option and/or beta-ing if you are up for it. (And I get enough clips down to warrant a beta!)

Yay on SPN. There may be a fanvid/ep watching session coming up sometime in the future. If it happens I'll let you know. ;)

And yes! I will cheerlead or beta. I dropped out of festivids last year and I regret it (though I didn't have much choice) so I'm all for cheer leading you on! (PM me your prompt/fandom. ;) And then start laying down those clips!!)

ETA: A vid about the boys being hurt?! I'll be all over that one! :DDD

re: SPN vid. I though you might be. It's unbelievable how much they get hurt when you see it all together. They should definitely have extensive brain damage at this point.
