A Few of my Favourite Things - Part Three

ash48Choosing my favourite secondary characters was pretty tricky. It's so completely personal that it's hard to write up any justification for my choices. Really, it came down to who I like seeing on the screen.
(It will probably help to have a widescreen for this one. I am experimenting with formats *g*)
Favourite Secondary Female Characters
1. Jodie Mills
2. Ellen
3. Pamela
4. Meg
5. Jo
(I have a love/hate relationship with Ruby. I loved the idea of her but hated the influence she had over Sam. Though I liked that story arc. Argh! Too hard basket). I did enjoy both of the Ruby performances though.
Secondary Male Characters
1. Death
2. Lucifer
3. Bobby
4. Rufus
5. Gordon
Honorary mention:
Followed closely by Hendrickson, Andy, wee!Sam and Adam. :) (I WANT MORE ADAM!)
In choosing favourite secondary characters I thought about which ones I enjoy watching the most on screen. The ones I'm happy to see again. Overall there's more men to choose from, so I had to add some extras at the end.
I think, for me, the performances by the actors play a large role in my choices also. I adore Julian Richings performance as Death, the same with Mark Pellegrino's portrayal of Lucifer. I also loved Sterling K Brown's performance as Gordon. He gave the character so much weight. He didn't play it as a downright baddie.

Date: 2011-12-23 01:41 pm (UTC)I really liked Sarah too. I didn't include her because I was wanted to stick to OCs who appeared more that once. Otherwise I would have totally included her. :)
I think Ruby was indeed an great character. I remember all through S4 though cringing every time she appeared because it was to take Sam away from Dean. But she had a definite character arc which is a lot more than some of the OCs on the show. :)
I love that everyone sees things differently. Some peeps worst eps are others favourites. :)
