A Few of my Favourite Things - Part Five (Last one!)

And finally we come to my favourite brother moments. Those moments I hang out for.


1. Fireworks in Dark Side of the Moon (5.16)

I know this is part of a "dream" sequence, but I still consider it a real memory. I love it because it give us some history. A time when, through Sam's eyes Dean was bestest big brother in the world and through Dean's eyes it's a happy little brother who thinks the world of him. Awwww.. I snuggle this scene.





2. End of Point of No Return. (5.18) (*guh* the wink)

It might be because this came at a time when we were seriously lacking some solid bro moments, but this scene saw the brothers reunited. It's a little like the fireworks scene. Through Sam's eyes he's still the big bro who will do the right thing and through Dean's eyes he see a little brother who still believes in him. And it doesn't hurt that there's some additional hurt!Sam being helped by Dean. *adores*




3. Christmas drinks in A Very SPN Christmas (3..08) (and pretty much everything in that ep! Wee!Sam and wee!Dean).

I've already mentioned this ep is one of my favourites. But damn! This final scene! Swapping christmas presents? Unsaid words of love and appreciation? This final scene is everything these boys are about. Being together.





4. Dean responding to Sam's visions. Nightmare (1.14) and Simon Said ( 2.05) (bro!touching and concern <3)

Probably a bit of a cop out as this isn't one scene. (And it appeals to the hurt!Sam Protective!Dean whore in me). But they all make up part of my favourite type of bro moments.





5. Two moments in Swan Song (5.22)

Carving their initials into the impala (so bromantic). and Dean's "I'm not going to leave you". *guh*




So many to choose from. Next would be the pranking in Hell House (WE NEED MORE PRANKING!), followed by Dean showing Sam how to fix the Impala. And pretty much all the road side chick flick moments. And any time they laugh together.

That's it!! This has been very self indulgent but I have learned heaps of stuff doing this. Thanks for putting up with me.

Sam's eyes in A Very Supernatural Christmas as shown by the screencap you captured. That. Is heartwrenching. Lovely moment. Might be all-time best to me.

I nearly cry every time I watch that moment. He knows he's going to lose his brother and he just can't express how much he loves him. It's SO sad and yet beautiful.
