I really DO want to poll about episode spoilers v enjoyment and I will - when I've considered it a bit more.

I'm really keen to know if being spoiled has an effect on the watching of an episode. It's just.... how does one measure that?

I had 2 polls - one if you had been spoiled and one if you hadn't. Only... I didn't supply enough options in the levels of enjoyment (so I took it down).

But now that I think about it it's had to measure. I'd have to get a lot of responses to make it a decent survey. And I think most of my flist watch spoilers so.... *shrug* I don't know.

Personally, I know I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more for not having a clue what was going to happen. I watched the promo and man... talk about give it all away.

Being spoiled definitely seems to make me enjoy an episode less, because I build up the spoilers in my mind into something that a 39 or 40 minute episode can't deliver on. The only S7 ep I've been spoiled for was Defending Your Life, and it's my least favourite excepting the travesty that was the wedding one! I'd mentally constructed a much better courtroom scene than we actually got.

Hard to survey if most people always either consume spoilers or don't, since they don't have a basis for comparison!

I can totally go with energy changes. I feel so discombobulated. Ridiculously teary and all over the place. My hubby is going to be away for 3 weeks and I think that's stressing me also.

Also, dropping back to say what a kick in the guts (in the best possible way!) it was that you included Hell in the S3 accommodation! I would have laughed, if I could laugh about Dean being in Hell.

Yeah... I try to add a quirky one in each entry. That one was a bit of a nasty reminder of where Dean was staying. :)

(still can't actually contemplate 40 years in hell. Being tortured for that long is pretty inconceivable. Let alone 120 years for Sam. /o\)
