I wonder if this was deliberate...

It rather amuses me that Jared was placed here. I'm sure it's no accident.

Is it just me or does Sam standing under the life ring make him look like he has horns? I absolutely love this looming shot of Sam as Dean returns from a hunt WITH SOMEONE THAT WASN'T HIM! It just makes me giggle that they placed under that red ring. Makes me think of a red rag to a bull. You can almost see the steam coming out of Sam's nose. I am sure one of the first things directors learn is to look what's popping out of someone's head in a shot. Makes me think this is no accident. (Or maybe I'm just being silly - ETA: though
maenad's brilliant comment below confirms that they indeed knew what they were doing...;D).
So much love for that last scene. I actually thought Dean would have to choose between Sam and Benny. Or Dean might have to fight Sam to keep Benny safe. Sam was all ready to kill the monster but trusted Dean when he shook his head not too. It also reminded me of the way Cas came between Dean and Benny in Purgutory (literally walked between them). This really was about loyalty and trust and looking out for one another. Can't wait to see where it goes from here.
ETA: Oooh, meant to point out this.

Was there something else the C&D stood for? (I haven't properly investigated this but when I saw it it felt like a little nod to fandom. Maybe). Of course I'd prefer S&D but the nod is amusing.
Another edit because apparently it stands for "Captain and Danneel" (aka Jensen and Danneel) So cute!! (source = Guy Bee *g*)
