You guys! Thank you (again <3) for all your thinkies and hugs and positive vibes on the last episode (and the 2,800 word scolding from my dear friend redteekal *g*).

I'm mighty invested in this (damn!) show and so I can go to extremes in my reactions. I'm somewhat irrational and passionate when it comes to episode reactions. *iz sheepish*

I did feel better after reading all your ideas and thoughts and I loved that we could disagree on stuff and everything is ok. Some things won't change for me but I love that you all are as equally passionate (even if you have already quit the show) about stuff. (I still have some comments to reply to and I will).

I really wish we didn't have to wait 2 weeks for the next ep (boo!) but maybe a break will be good. Even then I'll have to wait an extra day because on the night because I will be on camp with my Year 7 students (joy...).

Invested? Passionate? Gosh, we're all like that, bb. It took me a long time to find my footing in fandom, and one of the (many) things I love about this particular corner (I like to think of it as the "Ash corner") is that it is SANE here. We can disagree -- peacefully. We can share opposing opinions without all the screaming and flouncing and hating on Sam!girls or Dean!girls that regularly goes on "out there."

For a Dean!girl who loves Sam, let me tell you, that aspect of SPN fandom was hurtful and annoying. TBH, I probably would've left fandom entirely* if I'd not discovered this little corner of sanity. So, you know . . . thanks for being here. And please, keep on sharing your thoughts, extreme, irrational and/or passionate. I love it! ;)


*I wouldn't have quit Show, though. Never quitting Show. ;)

That's what I have particularly loved about the last 2 lots of discussion. Lots of differing thoughts and ideas but everyone has been civil. It's been more about story lines and character dynamics and what actually makes some one like one character over another. Which is going to happen of course because we are all different. Yay.
