faege prompted this song and when I heard it this immediately sprang to mind. (I hope it's a little close to what you imagined hun...) It's a bit sad but at it's heart is the epic love story of Sam and Dean.

Very moving!

Dean lying in bed in Exile on Main St. is one of my favourite sad scenes in the show and it's great to see his thoughts of missing Sam fleshed out in so much gorgeous, heartbreaking detail! Sam appearing and disappearing in the Impala early on was very effective.

Dean lying in bed is such great footage for a vidder . It's a long clip and his face seems to tell such a story. (hee...him thinking of Sam while he's lying in bed is rather perfect. AND canon!)

NO MORE! you're too effin' good at them and now I have something in my eye and I'm already unable to listen to ONE Sarah Mclachlan song without tearing up thanks to a vid someone put to it and now there's this one...but by the same token congrats on breaking your wincest vid virginity so to speak. It was classy and smooth and probably took amazingly little effort on your part to make it wincesty (thanks to show practically being already there on so many scenes ;) lol )

I was pretty nervous posting a wincest vid to YT because I never have before (even though some of them border on it...but that's just canon). I have made a really (really!) wincesty one a long time ago (nekid bodies any everything...;D) but I didn't put it on YT.

I think I def need to make a happy vid. Though I can't promise. ;) (I do have a Garth vid in the pipeline but I keep getting stuck on it).

It's really beautiful honey and the flow and clip choice is heartbreakingly sad and poignant. The editing is perfectly balanced with colouring and effects that you don't really notice on the first watch.

This may be the saddest and most beautiful fanvid I've ever seen. I think it was the 'AU' in your summary, and the fact that you had the slinky in the video, that made this even more heartbreaking to me. Really, really gorgeous and so perfectly done. And EPIC.

The slinky is what cemented the AU for me actually. I mean, I know wincest is AU anyway but by including the slinky it goes past S3 and into the future. So yeah..in my mind this is about Sam who is gone forever and each Christmas Dean thinks back to the Christmas Sam gave him before he died.

This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

The song you chose was perfect and the images/scenes you chose to go along with it were simply amazing, telling a heartbreaking story without ever being too overt. Instead, it was all very quiet, very understated, and therefore only all the more powerful. One of the most profound explorations of the epic love story of Sam and Dean that I know.
