faege prompted this song and when I heard it this immediately sprang to mind. (I hope it's a little close to what you imagined hun...) It's a bit sad but at it's heart is the epic love story of Sam and Dean.

This may be the saddest and most beautiful fanvid I've ever seen. I think it was the 'AU' in your summary, and the fact that you had the slinky in the video, that made this even more heartbreaking to me. Really, really gorgeous and so perfectly done. And EPIC.

The slinky is what cemented the AU for me actually. I mean, I know wincest is AU anyway but by including the slinky it goes past S3 and into the future. So yeah..in my mind this is about Sam who is gone forever and each Christmas Dean thinks back to the Christmas Sam gave him before he died.


(and yay! Isn't that poem simply gorgeous?! It's one on my fav poems ever also. Glad you noticed it...;D)

But seriously, I told myself the AU bit was only referring to S/D but I knew you wanted to imply more than that. I confess I watched it twice and cried both times. You heartbreaker!

Yes! I love the implications of those lines. 'Curled' and 'cling' are such inactive verbs (oxymoron, heh).
