Fic rec! This completely broke my heart - but in a way that I love it to be broke. THIS! This is what I needed to know about Sam's lonely year. I've been living on the edge so long (where the winds of limbo roar) by clex_monkie89 Beautifully written and...just...yes.

They're great pics, yeah? I love the one of Sam in a sweater/sweatervest & jacket being loomed at :D. Also, Dean appears to be moving through a library at one point.

They are! The sweater vest combo is awesome and for them to find someone taller than Jared - yay! (wow, that guy is big....)

There looks like there's going to be some good action in this one - and it definitely seems like there's a scene in a library.

I'd seen these photos, but I had not realized that was SAM Dean was kneeling by. I guess I've grown so used to someone other than SAM that I didn't even pause to examine and think about it. Now I'm excited as well. :)

Thank you so much for the fic rec. An emotionally powerful exploration of Sam's past year. First time in a long while that a fic made me cry.

The fic made cry too. For reals. I left out a sob at the end and thought - this is the crying I wanted to do for the show not what I ended up doing (and that's sobbing because they had screwed it up so much...)

SO much love for the second one. Boy touching WINS every time (And it looks like Sam has his hand on his head - curious what's happening there).

I think it looks like we're in for some interesting eps. Even the next one looks really interesting. Interesting and entertaining (with a good helping of broments and hurt!boys) is all I ask for from my TV show! (wel, there's a heap more but that's a start....;D)

I know the feeling. In some ways the next two eps I feel will tell us which way they are heading for the second half of the season. So yeah, I'm a little nervous too.
