... you know the one where you can zoom in on a photo and can suddenly read very fine text.

Anyone got magic equipment like that? Or can make out what the name on this motel card says? It's from 6.08 All Dogs Go To Heaven.

"Over the Rainbow" maybe? Not sure the pyramid design supports that, but the stripy colours might (which, on second thought, is probably a prism and therefore supports "rainbow" even more...hmmmmm). Also the episode is about a dog looking for a home...just like Toto. (stretch...?)

I think over the rainbow is probably a good shout. And the toto ref ties in nicely with the episode title. In other random facts, the pyramid prism with a rainbow of light passing through it is also the cover of Pink Floyds dark side of the moon album. Not sure how that ties in with anything other than Dean's taste in music though!

And it's funny, I kept thinking "Over the moon" for some reason and it's probably because that prism reminds me of "Dark Side of the Moon". :))

It could be moon in a fancy script...that would explain the full yellow circle for the O. Full moon = werewolves and this isn't that..still close though with skinwalkers. Other possibilities for the first word are Come and Gone so I still don't know. There is a car pictured on the other cards...don't know if that matters.

I consulted a paleographer friend and neither she nor I can see the word that would have to be "rainbow" as "rainbow," although we also don't know what else it might be. I've sent out a bat signal to another possible expert.

It would fit, though, wouldn't it? Robo!Sam = Tin Man. /overthinking it

Okay, just did a quick rewatch. I think it's the Over the Moon Motel. I've got the Blu-ray and a big-screen tv but it still wasn't super-clear. Whatever font they used isn't doing us any favors. We should find out who the script supervisor is and ask them, too. They might know...

Tara Larson just posted a pic of a motel on her twitter asking if anyone could say which one it was. I have answered it so I'm hoping in return she might give me the name of this motel.
