Man I need cheering up. I have no idea why I am feeling so sad and pissed off with everything but I am. I should be extra excited as it was my last day of work today and I am starting a two week holiday but I'm feeling kinda yuk.

Also, I am finding it really hard to remain spoiler free. I want to see all those promos and previews and particularly the chats with Carver but I also want to remain oblivious to what's going to happen. Ack.. but I want to be prepared!! But I also want to get excited about things that might be coming that will make me excited! Arghhh.... *head explodes*


I am REALLY scared that I am going to be completely disappointed and it's making me stressed. (And yeah.. I know...it's only a TV show yada yada, but it's MY TV show and I want them to do well and I want to LOVE IT! I want to squee and be excited and see the light at the end of the dark tunnel that has been much of S8).

But I love you show and I'm on your side! You can do it!


(I was going to rant about world events but this might not be the place. I will say YAY New Zealand! Let's hope Australia can follow your lead one day - and the rest of the world. Though if a simple gun law amendment can't be passed I don't hold out much hope...).

Nooooo, releeeeease those expectations, little one!

Be zen, be a leaf on the wind and just let it happen. Personally? I'm completely spoiled and I'm not twisted up about it. But then nor do I give the teasers from Carver much weight; he likes to bait fans into worrying, thinking that that will pull them to the show like moths to a flame. The things he lets drip are deliberately obtuse.

I'm actually looking forward to these final episodes.

My biggest lament is how sloppy Carver is being with canon. Shit, even canon he effin' established! I know he's show-run before, but not on a vehicle with so much established canon. Maybe he should swap shows with his wife; I've heard she's done great things with Being Human, the American version.

Anywho, don't despair yet! I'm firmly convinced if you only look for bad shit, that's what you'll find. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. I'm looking for (and don't worry, these are NOT spoilers, just my hopes): gloriously fey Sam (I loves me some tragic hero), snarkily stalwart Dean, charming Charlie and a side-dish of Cas eating burgers. \0/!

I did used to think that Carver deliberately said stuff to have us worrying and worked up but after everything he said at the beginning of the season actually happened I wonder if he's actually that cunning. I mean, they have to be obtuse I suppose because they want to keep any big reveals a real surprise - that's why I'm tempted to check out the spoilers because I figure they can't give the big stuff away. :))

I am actually mostly positive about things to come. As long as they keep the bros together and on the same page I'll be happy. I am sure he won't take them back to their early troubles. *hopes*

Some tragic hero Sam would make be very happy!

Ha! And the stuff you let out (because yeah, I had to peek...) was some stuff I'd seen already. I don't know how any of that will play out so I still consider myself unspoiled for that...;)
