Man I need cheering up. I have no idea why I am feeling so sad and pissed off with everything but I am. I should be extra excited as it was my last day of work today and I am starting a two week holiday but I'm feeling kinda yuk.

Also, I am finding it really hard to remain spoiler free. I want to see all those promos and previews and particularly the chats with Carver but I also want to remain oblivious to what's going to happen. Ack.. but I want to be prepared!! But I also want to get excited about things that might be coming that will make me excited! Arghhh.... *head explodes*


I am REALLY scared that I am going to be completely disappointed and it's making me stressed. (And yeah.. I know...it's only a TV show yada yada, but it's MY TV show and I want them to do well and I want to LOVE IT! I want to squee and be excited and see the light at the end of the dark tunnel that has been much of S8).

But I love you show and I'm on your side! You can do it!


(I was going to rant about world events but this might not be the place. I will say YAY New Zealand! Let's hope Australia can follow your lead one day - and the rest of the world. Though if a simple gun law amendment can't be passed I don't hold out much hope...).

I'm not even looking for spoilers. I've hit the point where I'm so flabbergasted at the turn of events this season--and not at all in a good way--that I don't even want to know. I'm going to give the final three episodes all of my undivided attention, and they're going to be the litmus test of whether or not I tune back in for S9. This has been the show of my heart for nearly a decade, and I just hope that Carver has been feeding us a line of BS in his last interview (she says cryptically).

OTOH, I've been marathonning this season while I wait for next week, and the pacing is still godawful, but the plot holds together better than I thought. On yet another hand, the character assassination/ping-pong is sort of glaring when I watch 5 eps in a row. :(

Ack...*worries*. Carver didn't lead us astray in the beginning of the season, so I can't imagine he's saying anything that won't happen at the end either. I would love to be able to say "but I trust Carver. Look how he wound us up at the beginning of the season and none of that happened"..:(

I'm curious to see how the overall season looks once it's done. I can see important threads running through the episodes, but, as you say...the pacing has been all over the shop so it's hard to know how well (or not) it's going to go.

*clings tight* damn this show for making us care so much.
