Wow! I woke up this morning to find there are even MORE PROMOS PICS! And this time....IN CAGES!! \o/ I CAN'T EVEN PEOPLE!! Are they trying to kill me or WHAT?!?

Ha! Loving the red light for hell and blue for heaven. Dean's mostly blue (only hell below him), Sam's half and half (still!), Cas is mostly blue - with a hint of red and of course Crowley is mostly red - with a suggestion of blue.

There's colour light meta!! I rather love the thought that's been put into this. My reading - Dean is still a "righteous man", Sam is conflicted - the battle between good and evil continues to rage, Cas is heavenly but has a "dark" side and Crowley is evil - but there's good slipping between the cracks. (yes, yes wanky wank - but fun!!)

I'd love to know the significance of the carnation Crowley is holding. The carnation is connected to love and apparently a dark red carnation can symbolise "deep love". In the recent poster with the church it's on fire! (I'll be looking back on this once the show starts to see if there's a connection...;D)

My first thought about that reference in Dean's photo were the lyrics from "Imagine" -- "No hell below us, above us only sky"

Also, no idea about the carnation but the first thing it made me think of his was his "date" with Sheriff Miller.

Also, it could just be a handy prop but my first thought about the cage was, well, Lucifer and Michael's cage.

I think this is definitely more than we've ever had before. I wonder if they are trying to get new viewers or simply rewarding their loyal fans..:)

The carnation could just be because Crowley is such a smoothie - or romantic maybe...;)

And re comment below - I absolutely think that's in connection to Lucifer and Michael's cage. I'm not sure if it's a hint that there will be more about the cage this season or just a general reference - either way I APPROVE!

I don't know if America's Next Top Model is still running, but otherwise I expect SPN is the oldest continuous show on the CW. And we know it'll go on to another season still.

I'm sure the move to a new night is part of it, though I don't recall much concern when they pushed it to Friday night.
