Day 17: Favourite SPN Ship



I'm not sure, but there seems to be two types of shipping (if I understand the term "shipping" correctly) - canon ships and non canon ones. I'm going to split mine up.

My fav canon pairings would have to be - Sam/Jess, Sam/Sarah, Castiel/Meg, Dean/Lisa and John/Mary

My fav non-canon ship is definitely Sam/Dean. They are the only pairing I actively seek out in stories - though I have occasionally read some others - Dean/Benny, Sam/Cas, Sam/Kevin.

Though I have to add Dean/Impala after being delightfully persuaded by cassiopeia7's lovely post.

Canon ships - Sam/Sarah Blake. I just loved Sarah and reckon she'd have been good for Sam
Dean/Lisa. Because Lisa was wise, and generous, and gave without expecting too much in return. She was fierce and reminded me of a young Ellen. She was clearly ready to fight for her mini family.

Non canon ships - Sam/Dean. But if it's well written, Dean/Cas, and I'll give virtually any pairing a try at least once, though I won't necessarily seek it out. I've read good fics with Gabe/Sam, Sam/Kevin, Dean/Ellen etc etc...
I did recently have to draw the line at Death/Dean - I can buy friendship there not not sex!

I think Sarah and Sam would have made a lovely couple. :((

And I really liked Lisa. A lot! She had the right mix to make her a good choice for Dean.

And what? Death/Dean...hmmmm..noooooo. Mostly, if I don't want to picture a character naked then I really don't think I could read them having sex. And as awesome as Julian is I really don't wanna see him without clothes..... ;D

Oh and yes, Dean/Ellen. I read a lovely Dean/Ellen fic a while ago and wow - that pairing really was wonderful. I could imagine Dean with someone like Ellen.
