For resolution reasons I would love to see Adam return. Even if for only one episode. I fret that he's still suffering in hell and I want him out! I'd love to see John return (because...JDM!) and how awesome would it be to have the three Js in an episode again (I'm hoping they maybe be saving that for the series finale). Others I'd easily watch again - Jody Mills, Benny, Gordon, Roy and Walt, Garth, Ellen, the amulet... and Becky! (I want to see them give her a solid character. Maybe become a intelligent, badass hunter..or something)

But, uh, you know, that just clouded my judgement, and you're right. I mean, we've gotta go with what we know, with what we can see, with what's right there in front of our own two eyes.


I think Sam's "Maybe I could be saved" really sums up his character - and it's so heartbreaking. I also love his "with what's right there in front of our own two eyes." - he included Dean's eyes as part of his eyes..(awwwwww).

I whole-heartedly agree with you on Adam. It's not that I want to see his character in a recurring capacity or anything, but it bothers me that he is left to rot in the cage through no fault of his own. Knowing even a fraction of what Sam suffered in the cage, the thought that Adam is still suffering from it distresses me. :( Other than that, I don't want any characters to return. While there are many characters that I love and would like to see again (maybe in a flashback), I really want the show to stop cheapening death by constantly bringing characters back from the dead. If they wanted them to be part of the story, they shouldn't have killed them off. Period! Give me new and interesting characters for Sam and Dean to interact with and expand their relationship with those that are still alive, like Adam and his Golem, Garth or Jody. That is what I want to see. :)

That's exactly the reason I want to see Adam again too.

I'm not sure if the question means who you liked enough to what to see again, or who you want to see because it would be good for the storytelling. I don't really want dead characters to return for the sake of it (though I loved how they brought Ellen back for that one episode). I actually can't think of any dead characters who should return (other than Adam), so I mostly picked characters who I liked enough to want to see again. Though of the ones who aren't dead, I'd like to see them again to expand their relationship with the boys (especially Jody and Garth), as you say.

I'm not sure that I'd need Adam brought back to bring closure for him, but some acknowledgement from the writers that they left us all hanging as to his fate would be good - because it damages the characters of Sam and Dean that they seem to have so easily forgotten their own brother. So an angel confirming that Adam's soul was ripped out of his body when Michael fell with Lucifer, and that his soul was safely back in heaven with his Mom - that would be satisfactory.

Yep. That would do me also. My head canon is that he did somehow get out of hell and he's been living it up in heaven (but I want that confirmed!). Though, he'd be a demon now if he'd been in Hell all this time, so if they did bring him back he might have to be "cured" - which could be interesting.

Mmm but he'd only be in Hell if he'd got out of the cage somehow - otherwise his stuck in the cage with Lucifer and Michael and how dreadful that would be....

Day 26: I would definitely have to agree with you on Adam even if only in reference to his fate. When I think on Adam's fate I almost find myself disliking the brothers considering the fact they know what Sam went through in a fraction of the time Adam has been in hell and yet they haven't bothered their asses to try and do anything about it.

Day 27/28: I suck at picking particular quotes! Too many!
