Many thanks to deirdre_c, who not only donated money for the Typhoon Haiyan fundraiser but who graciously allowed me to vid this song for her. I've had this song in mind for a while and when I mentioned my idea she liked it and went with it. AND I made her beta it also. Thank you so much darlin'. You're just too lovely for words. <3

And thanks to the twitter peeps who helped me with some clip finding! <3

Notes: I suppose this is my way of dealing with the constant breaking up of these two. It does my head in! There's a line in the song that pretty much sums up my feelings on it - which is why this song appeals (I put it at the end of the vid). I know it's a very poppy pop song, but it just fits these two and it haunted me wherever I went (song seemed to pop up all over the place), so I caved in and put what I was imagining onto a timeline.

It's particularly tough at the moment because there's an edge to their relationship that almost suggests that getting back together isn't such a great idea. But can we just pretend that it is? That being together, being brothers in their crazy world, does them more good than harm.

AWWWWW! I love this. It is making me smile so hard. Such adorableness and yet the perfect fighting and walk away moments. You really captured the funness of the song's vibe while telling a strong story about their relationship, bouncing back and forth.

OMG, Taylor Swift, I'd never dreamed one day one of her song could go with Supernatural. But this made me happy. I think it's your editing rather than the song itself that made this vid so cute. Great job :)

I love this so hard, just what I needed right now. It sums them up perfectly, and the song surprised me at how right it was for what you're expressing about these two brother/lifemates. It is a tough moment for them, and I wish I could show them your awesome vid to cheer them up. How friggin' cool is this? The pacing is terrific, loved the clever effect when the song references talking to friends, and the way you spun the narrative from Swift's "oh, we are so not getting back together" to make it light-hearted sarcasm, because of COURSE the Winchesters are getting back together, duh!...perfection!

Thank you thank you! And yes yes - it was the sarcastic element that I wanted to capture in the vid. The boys fight and break up SO many damn times - but of course they always come back together. (and usually in a better place). It was my way of reminding myself that even though things look particularly dire at the moment, they will eventually make their way back to each other (hopefully in an even better place..)

Thank youuuuu! My hope is they are heading toward a solid resolution between the two of them that may let us actually see them being playful and friendly with each other again. Though, it may be a long time coming. The MoC story line has to play out before they can be on the same footing I think. I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle it.

Not an easy feat because I'm so skeeved out by their relationship at present.

Oh man, this is something I really struggled with in this vid. I've been doing a lot of reading about the relationship and it's left me thinking "run away!" (from each other), rather than get back together again. Doing this helped me see that there have been good times between them.

When Dei told be what she was after she mentioned a few songs that conjured up seeing them as a married couple. This song has been in the back of my mind for a while (it makes me think of them as an entwined couple) and when I mentioned what I wanted to do she graciously said she'd be happy with that. :))

I feel the same way!! Even though the boys had their differences it never felt like they couldn't be mended. It all feels so broken now...:( I live in hope that we'll see them liking each other again. I have no doubt they still love each other, but actually liking each other seems hard...
