I agree with runedgirl, that after hearing about the loss of Robin Williams today "it seems like a good time for everyone to remind themselves of why we're all important".

So, some positive things about me.

* I'm a happy person. I try and see the bright side of life.
* I like to try new things.
* If I say I'll do something I will do everything within my power to make sure I do it.
* I'm organised (I think that's a positive thing!)
* I'm resilient.

It's weird how hard it is to find nice things to say about yourself.

I've been tagged for this, and I'm finding it really hard. It is puzzling (and maybe also a little sad) that people find it hard to write positive things about themselves. Personally I find it much easier to praise others.

Thank you! And you should do it. It's hard because we don't like to say nice things about ourselves and believe me, i have a list a mile long of things I can't do or am not good at, but in amongst all that are some nice things. I'm sure you can find things too! So I tag YOU!

It is really weirdly hard to do this, isn't it? I think that says something about how often we downplay the good things about ourselves, which isn't very healthy. I could easily think of a dozen other good things about you, but it's harder to do that for ourselves. I'm glad you did it :)

I totally agree with the nice things you are saying about yourself!! *nods* and I'll add that you are a bright and beautiful spirit, lifting up and inspiring people around you with it. :D ♥

Maybe we just don't feel comfortable with saying nice things about ourselves because it seems to make us vulnerable to being criticized, and we rather have others saying nice things about us anyway. Just like it feels better to be hugged by somebody else rather than hugging ourself. My 2 cents worth of thoughts on this anyway.

I'm reading in a comment you are feeling kinda flat. Hmmm... *That* is NOT acceptable and calls for LOOOOTS of squishy HUGS with ADDED giggles and smiles and BRIIIGHT and cheery vibes!!!

And yes, I think you are right. It's just uncomfortable saying "I'm good a this!".

And my blues lifted today!! YAY! I think after the hectic gishwhes week it was weird getting back to normal life. But today was lovely. The sun was shining, I had lots of "me" time and I got lots of things done. :))
