That's wonderful! You always put so much thought into every analysis you do and you see much more subtext than the rest of us notice on a conscious level. It's great to see these responses. I'm sure it made him as happy as it made you. It's always a great thing when someone notices the subtlety in someone's art, so I'm sure he was jazzed as hell to read your post. Hey! I got the cap from a screen cap site (which I really should have credited). And then I tweaked the coloring etc in Photoshop. I only noticed that moment when I was looking through the caps. I haven't read your review yet but I'll check it out because I'm keen to see what you picked up:) I still can't believe it was a happy accident that they chose a scene that had bars in it. :)

Hi. yeah, I suppose if the feedback had been negative I might have worried about it more than I did. Though I am of the opinion that as soon as something is in the public domain it's up for grabs. I did think about tweeting it to Guy, but then I felt weird doing that so I didn't. And actually, I did get a comment from the poster (after she did it to tell me she did it) and she asked a question that I was dying to ask myself. :). And hey! I saw you got some notice from Kim and Jim. I haven't had a chance to watch your vid yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Yay! :)

They probably think we only watch for the boys (or characters) and that directorial choices etc are not noticed. (Ha, though I'd say... Have you met the SPN fandom!?!). It is great that he was receptive. We're lucky to be able to have the contact with them that Twitter allows.

I love that he mentioned subtext and metaphors etc. I think this is what makes our show stand out. Because of the various locations (and sets) they have the opportunity to play with visual symbolism.
