And I will publicly claim that I have fallen in love all over again with Jensen, because I totally BOUGHT his 5 year old self. And how hard must that have been??? He's had to act with "himself" before, but this was a mega amount of acting to someone else. Hats off. I was impressed.

And Jared?! So creepy (um.. could have done without the white suit.. *snerk*) but so un-Sam. Loved it.

And Misha?! <3<3<3 Loved "human" Cas!!

Oh boys! I adore your epic love story... and this made up of the lack of bro!love since.... OMG! seems like ever!

You know, I hadn't considered all those other scenes by himself... really quite amazing.

Every now and then (and I know this is blaspheming) I think Jensen can over do it slightly. But this one. Hit it on the head completely... some wonderful subtleties in his characterisations of the two Deans. I adored his older Dean...and the way he handled the emotions of the present Dean...

*g* Well, I rarely mind saying it when I'm thinking it, and I think both are prone to overacting. At the same time both are capable of pulling off some wonderfully affecting and nuanced work. I put part of it down to tiredness. I suspect that sometimes the overacting comes as an effort to create energy when they're low on it.

Yeah. I also think the director is responsible for their performances as well. Well, they should be. A good director should temper their acting. I was impressed with the overall direction in this so I suspect he (assuming "he", haven't checked to see who the director was)was somewhat responsible for getting this performance out of Jensen.
