Notes

This is what happens when a seed is planted. There was a conversation on Twitter with cuddyclothes about vidding all of Jared's mishaps. I liked the idea and started to collect footage. I thought I might whip something together quickly to a song I thought might work. But it wasn't working. I put the call out for a song suggestion and had some wonderful suggestions. It was "Stand" by R.E.M that clicked for me (not least because I love R.E.M.) and it also seemed to fit Jared and his personality.

Initially it was just going to be a collection of his trips and fumbles but the song called for more. As I started working on it I could see how much of what Jared does seems to be for Jensen. There's a sense of fun and affection and I wanted to capture that. So even though this is a Jared focussed vid, Jensen is at the heart of it. Well, it's how I was thinking about it as I made it. :)

Oh yay!!! This is just utterly delightful, and I can't stop smiling!

The song choice is perfect, and I loved how you matched the footage with the lyrics. These two are just so adorkable, and how they work together as such an entertaining team is so evident here. There truly is fun and affection with these two. I love it ♥

(plus as a side note I don't think I've ever noticed before that Jared's usually on the left and Jensen's on the right when they're on stage. I don't know if that's their thing, or if there's a reason for it, but I've never noticed it until now.)

So perfect...I love how you expanded from just Jared to the wider focus of Jensen as the focus of Jared goofing around. That takes it from something that could have been potentially seen as picking on to more of an appreciation. I like how you put them on the set for stand in the place where you work. This was fabulous. Great song choice and really just so much fun to watch. Jared is such a goofball, but you're right, there is a definite sense that he's trying to amuse or entertain Jensen or even just to get his attention and Jensen always responds with that long-suffering, but very real affection and sometimes even lets himself get roped into Jared's zany antics. It's all so adorable and you captured it perfectly. :D Thank you for this!
