Vidding Inspirations?

Happy New Year lovely peeps!

At the beginning of each year I wonder what I might vid in the future. I know I'm going to want to do something, but at the moment I have no idea. I can't see me signing up to challenges this year because I'm finding the time constraints a little too stressful. But, that doesn't mean I wouldn't love to make a vid for someone.

So, if you have any ideas (a song, an idea etc) here's a chance to let me know. It doesn't have to be a vid either - it could be a picspam or maybe even thinky thoughts on a particular topic. Of course, it doesn't mean I'll actually get to do it (/o\), but it might spark my muse and you never know! :D

What a lovely idea, and a happy new year to you too.

I was talking to someone about this, only I can't remember who it was now (sorry!), but am I right in thinking that Piper was the first blonde we've seen Sam with since Jess? I could be wrong, but I can't think of one off the top of my head. Are there some thinky thoughts there? Has he finally let her go? Is this a sign that Sam in moving on from his white picket fence 'normal' life dream? Or maybe there's s chance to examine some of the ladies we've seen Sam with over the seasons (maybe even a picspam of Sam/Madison, Sam/Dr Cara, etc... that might make for some nice, er, viewing ;)

Also. You can't beat a good old fashioned hurt!Sam vid. Maybe even just a collection of hurt!Sam scenes...for reasons :D Just food for thought (and wouldn't that make a good rec for spn_littlebro!!!)

And I have so many hurt!Sam vid ideas but I've never been able to put them together (though, I just had a little spark on something…:D, I'll tease that out a bit and see what happens *g*)

OMG so would I!! *argh* I'm so hopeless at cross overs - mainly because it takes knowing the other source as well as I know SPN - and then there's the "idea". Though there would be so many possibilities…(I wonder if there's any Hannibal/SPN fic? I haven't gone searching, but there must be some surely…)

I have a Sam Dean story in mind whenever I listen this song - something visual for Sam thinking about Dean in Hell, but also flipping it around so it's Dean thinking about Sam in the cage... IDK
Not all the lyrics fit, but maybe there could be dialogue over those parts? Plus there could be some nice flashbacks to their teen years

Hey, happy new year! Not something you'd need to do but every time I hear that Adele Hello song, I picture a totally angst ridden Dean calling Sam on the phone and Sam not being able to answer the phone because he's in some sort of peril/locked up. It could go the other way too. Some days I think it could be a complete angst fest and other times it could be total crack depending on how I feel about Sam and Dean at the time. Probably depends on how snarky I feel about the song at that point too. The California dreaming line makes me think of Stanford. There's also the bit about saying I'm sorry and that Dean doesn't. Whatever you come up with will be great.

The vid that I would vid if I could vid would be for "You're the One that I Want" from Grease, based on Sam/Ruby. :P

Though as S9 was airing I thought it would be interesting (if significantly more unsettling) to work it with respect to Sam's history of demonic/angelic/etc. possession, heh. WHICH IS SO MEAN BUT I AM KIND OF MEAN...

So I was just driving home minding my own business and some song came on the radio 'I'll stand by you, even if we can't find heaven - I'll walk through hell with you...' and I immediately exclaimed, "Ash48!" causing the other people in the car to startle and go "Huh??!"

Such a perfect SamnDean song! I don't even know who does it, but the lyrics and the song itself just screamed SamnDean (and you) to me :)

It's a little creepy that I think of you while driving home with a car full of the family, isn't it? :)

I googled those lyrics and came up with Rachel Patten - I'll Stand by You. (actually, I wouldn't be surprised if a Dean/Cas vid hasn't been made to this one with the reference to broken wings). Would work for Sam and Dean too! :)
