The pain that Supernatural brings me sometimes pales to insignificance to the pain I feel today. I not only weep for America but for the world. What an utterly devastating outcome. I don't think I have ever felt this level of despair for the state of the world.

I haven't seen any arguments (thankfully). I have avoided comments and most of the people are follow are expressing utter grief. Australia is really feeling for the US at the moment.

I am so very sorry, honey. I know I don't live in the US I am truly terrified. His hatred will trickle down. The world needs to watch it's back. If America can vote in Trump, Ferage isn't far away for us and if those two decide to team up then every decent human being on the planet needs to start watching where they step.

I haven't felt this scared since Reagan and Thatcher were in charge. It is devastating, not just the US but the things going on in Russia, Syria, India, plus the UK's idiotic decision to leave the EU at a time when we need strength in numbers.

Perhaps all this crap will cause a backlash of love, compassion and hope.

Oh gosh I hope so. I often things can't get too bad and then I remember the past - 2 devastating world wars. Humans are capable of so much hatred and hurt. Let's hope love and positiveness can prevail.

I agree. It does feel like a death - and in a way it is. Death of sense and compassion. The world has changed and I can't see that it's changed for the better. :( I hope I'm wrong.

I was massively overwelmed yesterday with the collective energies of it, even before I bothered to check how the election went. It felt like shock, utter chaos, confusion, despair and speechlessness. Like a black hole opened up and swallowed sanity. Today I'm crawling out from under the rubble to just be me again somehow. And I'm in Germany!! You really don't have to be in the US to feel the deep, dark shadow that has surfaced there. Their collective fears and hate have now a face and name and is in charge.
I'm keeping away from the loud and noisy online arguments. They are just drama and of no use other than making things worse.
So yeah... :( ... ((big, big hugs))

It's a good way to describe it. Days later and I'm still feeling numb - as I'm sure many are. Hopefully it's a wake up call and the world can start working together to make it a better place - not a worse one.
