The Great Round Robin Vidding Experiment 4

A while back I put my hand up to be involved in, what's known as, The Great Round Robin Vidding Experiment. Basically it involves a number of vidders putting together a video in sections. In this case we had 30 secs each. The idea is to not share what we are doing with the other vidders and see what happens when it's put together. This is organised by the lovely starrylizard vid through the Supernatural Video Station website.

This is the first one I've done (there's been 3 previous to this one) and I have to say it was a heap of fun. And really, I can't believe how well it turned out, considering there are 7 vidders involved in making this. I've embedded it here so you can check it out. (Can you pick mine??) The theme was Fun Times/Feel Good The song is The Black Eyed Peas "I Gotta Feeling" All the vidders involved are listed at the end of the song, or on the SVS link if you want to see who they are. :)

Hee! I just chucked that in for a bit of fun. I thought the credits might give it away...:)

I think it turned out remarkably well considering none of us talked to each other about it. I really enjoy watching it too.. it has such a fun feel and I've loved watching what the other vidders did with the song.

It's kinda cool yeah? It's an idea that's always fascinated me plus it's nice way to collaborate with other vidders.

Thanks so much... Yeah Lizzie has been running these for a while now. This is the forth one. Takes quite a bit of organisation and work. But it was such a fun thing to be part of.

They're kinda funky aren't they? I hadn't been involved in the past ones because I use a Mac and Lizzie uses a PC. We thought it might make the joining together an issue, but we proved it didn't make a difference. :)

It still amazes me how well it came together, particularly the fact the 2 different vidders used those boxes without the other knowing. Spooky!

Yeah, it's interesting isn't it? I loved watching each section and seeing what each vidder did. I was also curious to see how my bit fit in. I kinda loved that some of the clips were the same but they had different meanings and context, depending on where occurred in the vid.

Hi. Yeah it was a lot of fun. starrylizard came up with this idea a while back and vidders get together and do their own thing and then it's all put together - we never know what we will end up with.
